AW-Shift Mobile App Privacy Policy

In General
Area 10 Labs and its affiliates (“we” or “us”) value our customers and respect their privacy. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs information we may collect or that you may provide in connection with your access, use or download of or registration with the AW-Shift mobile application (the “App”).
This Privacy Policy sets forth the collection, nature, purpose, use, maintenance, protection and sharing of any personal data that identifies or can be used to identify you, users of the App, as well as non-personally identifiable data that we may collect whenever you interact with the App. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that is associated with offline activities, that you provide to or is collected by any applications other than the App or third parties that we do not own or control, such as Service Providers (as defined below).
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download, register with, or use this App. By downloading, registering with, accessing or using this App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Collection of Information
We collect information from and about users of our App directly from you when you provide it to us and automatically when you use the App. These data are collected in order to provide benefit to you, the user of the app, and to others indirectly as we use the data you provide for research purposes. We collect information provided by users during their use of the app.
Personal Data
While using the App, we will NOT ask you to provide us with personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). All data asked for are tied to an subject identifier rather than a name, phone number, or email address.
Usage Data
We may automatically collect certain kinds of non-personal information that your app sends whenever you access or use the App through a mobile device (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information about your mobile device and internet connection, such as the type of mobile device you use, your IP address, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, the pages of the App you visit, the date and time of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. This Usage Data is collected in aggregate form, without identifying any user individually. While we may collect unique device IDs for the purpose of aggregate user base reporting and system administration, we do not have access to any Personal Data associated with device IDs.
Location Data
We currently do not collect any location data with the App.
We will not collect, accept or utilize any Personal Data that is not provided by you through the App or through your use of the App.
How Your Information is Used
Except as provided herein, we use your Personal Data, Location Data, and other information we collect or you provide in the following ways:
- To provide and maintain the App
- To allow you to participate in the research study
- To provide customer support
- To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the App
- To monitor the usage of the App
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues
Protecting Your Information
We use a variety of security measures to help protect your information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your account login information at all times and for any transactions performed from that account. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please notify us immediately by email at: sawshift.help@gmail.com. We do not retain your information for longer than is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. When we no longer need your information, we dispose of it safely.
Third Party Links
Through the Web Site and/or Service(s) you may be introduced to a variety of third-party vendors, sites or mobile applications. The privacy policies of these third parties are not under our control. The use of any information that you may provide to any third party will be governed by the privacy policy of that third party, which may differ from ours. Because we do not control the privacy policies of such third parties, including other sites or mobile applications to which we may provide hyperlinks, we recommend you review the applicable privacy policy of the site or mobile application. If you cannot find that provider’s privacy policy, or if you are uncertain about the entity to which you are providing your information, you should contact that provider directly for more information.
Service Providers
We may employ third party companies to facilitate a service (“Service Providers”), to perform App-related services or to assist us in analyzing how the App is used. These Service Providers have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. Service Providers may be used for the purpose of analytics, ad server, and other such services.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We will not share your Personal Data with third parties (other than Service Providers) without your express consent, except in the limited circumstances described below:
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
- To analyze the research data you provided and to report it in scientific literature.
- We will share your Personal Data when required by law, regulation, or litigation, and as necessary for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance.
- If the App is sold, acquired by or merged with another entity, we may provide such entity with your information without obtaining your further consent. We may provide notice of such asset sales, acquisitions, or mergers on the App.
- We do not share, sell, rent or trade any information you provide or we collect with third parties for promotional or direct marketing purposes. We may share aggregate data, such as demographics and usage statistics, with client sponsors for administrative purposes.
Security
The security of your information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the information you have provided or that we have collected from you.
Your Choices
You can always choose not to provide information when you are prompted to do so. Note that if you do not provide us with certain mandatory information, then you may be unable to take advantage of certain features of the App.
If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us at awshift.help@gmail.com. Please note that removing your Personal Data from our systems may require the deletion of your account.
In case you are uncomfortable with our receipt of Location Data when you use the App, most mobile devices allow you to turn off location services.
You may also adjust your privacy settings within the App.
Children
The App is intended for adult audiences only, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you are under age 13, please do not attempt to register for the App or provide any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any personal information from a child under the age of 13, please contact us immediately at awshift.help@gmail.com.
Changes in Privacy Policy
Any information that you provide or that we collect and maintain will be subject to this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice to you.
Governing Law
The App is intended for users in the United States, and the information you provide and we collect is governed by United States law. Users outside of the United States are advised not to disclose information to us.

Your use of the App and services, and any disputes arising from such use, is subject to this Privacy Policy.
App Store Guidelines and Agreements
We comply with the Apple Store and Google Play guidelines when building and updating the App. In the case that the platform provider’s terms of use or other relevant documents change, we will comply.
